| Events on Gran Canaria and Partner Events
This is an excellant chance to get some winter sunshine and take part in a fun but fast cicloturista event.
There is lots of climbing throughout the 7 day event and a closed road mountain time event
on the 4th day on the steepest gradients the island has to offer.
If you remember the climb where Cobo made his winning break, chased down by Froome in the Vuelta de España, then you'll
have an idea what to look for!
The hotel breakfast,bike and transfer sections are the same as for the cycling holiday, as well as some of the routes.

This is the season opener for the MTB marathon racers, and so be prepared for 90kms of climbs and rough technical riding. This was a UCI World Cup course in 2007 and has gotten more famous each year.

This is a Pinerello sponsored event ran on the same lines as the Vuelta Cicloturista. It has a very Italian flavour especially in the style stakes so be warned.
We will post more information when we get it, as it is always very last minute, but always worth the effort to test yourself against 200 Italian cyclists!

This is the biggest cyclotourist event in the world based on numbers and kms!But apparently cycling's best kept secret.Imagine riding 300km through the short Swedish night. It is superbly well organised with over 4000 volunteers and 9 rest stops with food,water and massage for tired muscles. It has a very non-racing atmosphere where the only objective is to finish and earn of the
most sought after cycloturista medals on the line. A must do event for any long distance social rider.
